THE BAHÁ'Í COUNCIL
The Council meets regularly and organises regional events including summer and winter schools. It also facilitates the regular publication of its newsletter - CommuNIqué. Regular consultations occur with other bodies including the National Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the Republic of Ireland. Many of the responsibilities of the Council are facilitated by bodies such as committees set up for each particular function.
The overriding purpose of the Council is to bring the principles and teachings of the Bahá'í Faith to all the people of Northern Ireland in ways that are non-adversarial but thought provoking, easy to understand yet profound in their effects on the human soul
